The Tides Restaurant and Wharf: We built this facility in three phases; relocating and expanding the fish receiving station, constructing an enlarged restaurant where the fish station had been, and replacing the old restaurant with a gift shop, arcade, and offices. The architecture is reminiscent of the old buildings but incorporates new stylistic elements and substantial functional improvements. All this was accomplished without interfering with the ongoing operations. Coastal regulations and El Nino complicated the task, but teamwork and careful coordination kept this project on track.
