"JMA is honest, direct and responsive. They are very hands-on and communicative. I definitely felt like we were working on a team together." — Eric Christiansen, Auberge Resorts
Clos Du Bois Winery, Geyserville
Great wine and close relationships age well.
In our first project for Clos Du Bois, they needed their tasting room operating within six months of groundbreaking. We met their deadline without sacrificing craftsmanship or their budget. The result is a bold industrial look incorporating colored concrete floors, exposed trusses, round ducts, and steel plate countertops. Then, we added 18,000 square feet of barrel and tank storage space to an existing warehouse. Through our value-engineering efforts, existing insulated concrete panels were moved 90 feet, preserving the original design at minimum cost. A few years later, we nearly doubled the size of the winery, adding 120,000 square feet. The expansion included a new crush pit, tank pads, bottling line, loading dock, barrel storage, case storage, and a fire protection pumphouse. Our latest project added administrative offices and a hospitality center to complete the master plan for Clos Du Bois.
